We often send Writing Center staff to classes all over the university to take 10-15 minutes to describe our services to students. Some faculty request a visit at the beginning of the semester, while others request a visit at a point in the semester when students are beginning to work on a writing assignment.

We also have the capacity for more bespoke classroom visits designed in collaboration with faculty (e.g., offering tips on managing the writing process, approaching long-term writing projects, writing in specific genres/disciplines, etc.).
